Radiance Woodwind Quintet
“Radiance”- the quality of being bright and sending out rays of light……….the attractive combination of good health and happiness…….these are just two descriptions of many for this unique ensemble. The Radiance Woodwind Quintet was founded in 2006 by five women dedicated to performing the woodwind repertoire with perfection and a little “sass”. This stand-out group has performed in recital to many audiences in the New England area since it’s inception. In addition to collaborating with pianist Simon Holt, they have been guest artists on the recital series “Sundays in the Parlor at Park” directed by pianists Gary Chapman and Laura Hibbard. Radiance has also appeared in concert for the United States Coast Guard Band recital series, and as guest artists at the University of Rhode Island. Their official debut concert is scheduled for June 6, 2008 in Norwich, CT.
Members include Elizabeth Jackson (flute), Carla Parodi (oboe), Kelli O'Connor (clarinet), Stevi Caufield (bassoon), and Jaime Thorne (french horn).
